Lovense, makers of popular interactive sex toys like the Gush, Calor and Lush 3 and Dolce, has announced the launch of a new app to control the interactive features of its toys, which allows you to control vibes and browse the internet all in one place.
Loudly touting the web browsing sync capabilities of the new app, Lovense says that the VibeMate app —available for Android and iOS devices— is the ideal companion for tooling around online, as you can easily keep all your favorite content sources and streamers (eg. OnlyFans, YouTube and Pornhub, for example) in one convenient place.
It also extends some of the functionality already found in the existing Lovense Remote apps, adding direct access to a wider pattern library and an improved sound responsive vibration mode.
“VibeMate allows users to connect Lovense toys and feel pleasant vibrations while exploring cam sites, reading stories, chatting, or watching content in the browser window: from a hockey
game to the 6 o’clock news and everything in between. Users can choose from the thousands of vibration patterns in the Lovense pattern library, or activate toy vibration to the sound of the content they watch,” Lovense says.
The patterns available in the library include ones made by the Lovense team, as well as those submitted by other users.
Perhaps more importantly than any of these individual single features is the fact that the app should make it easier for people with Lovense toys to make full use of the interactive features available. For example, browsing directly via VibeMate on cam sites like Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams and Cam4 allows for automatic syncing of toys with the on-screen action. Lovense says that other cam sites and content sources will be added in the near future.
Upcoming versions of the app will allow you to create and share interactive scripts —the bit that syncs the toy with the content— which should greatly increase the number of interactive sources available.
Potentially confusingly for the future, Lovense told SEXTECHGUIDE that both the Remote and VibeMate apps will continue to be developed, as “[the] Remote is for everything around remote toys control and long-distance sex… [whereas] VibeMate was designed to pair toys with multimedia content, and very soon to create interactive scripts on the supported platforms.”
The same spokesperson confirmed that there are desktop versions of the Lovense VibeMate app pencilled in on the development roadmap.
